Indoor Air Quality Evaluation & Monitoring

Indoor air quality (IAQ) issues will arise as a result of uncontrolled contaminant sources.  The indoor environment in any building is a result of the interaction between the site, climate, building systems, construction techniques, contaminant sources, and building occupants.  Indoor air contaminants can originate within the building or be drawn in from outdoors.

Hillmann Consulting, LLC’s periodic building surveys are specifically designed to address the most common indoor air contaminants.  We conduct Proactive Evaluations for commercial building owners and management firms as a means of determining an air quality baseline within their respective buildings.  Future IAQ assessments are completed on a periodic basis for documentation purposes and to ensure that building occupants are not being exposed to poor indoor air quality due to environmental contaminants.

When unknown environmental contaminants are suspected of affecting indoor air quality, Hillmann responds by conducting a Sick Building Response Survey.  Our assessment is designed based on interviews with your staff (as necessary), building history, visual inspection of the HVAC system, and potential environmental risk factors.  We use a multi-faceted approach to assist us in designing a comprehensive plan that will clearly identify any areas of concern within your building.
